DEJA VU AT THE OSCARS

I wanted to share with you two stars' outfits from the 2012 Oscars which made me think "Where did I see that before?"

First is Rooney Mara who wore Givenchy Couture Spring 2009 to the Oscars. It is very similar to the dress she wore to the London premiere of her Girl with the Dragon Tattoo film. Dress she wore to the premiere was also Givenchy, from Fall 2011.

Second Up is young Emma Stone. I am delighted to see her choose Giambatista Valli. In my previous post titled '' Hot Couture Dresses for Oscars'' Click here I chose this exact dress as a favourite for the red carpet. Well done me! However she wore the dress without large bling on her neck or in her hair that I almost didn't recognise it. Still managed to look good though.
The dress ended up reminding me (and most others) of the Balenciaga dress Nicole Kidman wore to the Oscars a while back.

İkinci yıldız genç Emma Stone' a gelince, ne diyeyim ki, eğer önceki yazımı anımsarsanız Buraya Tık Tık Oscar töreni için favori elbiselerimi listelemistim. Bu elbise listemde ilk sıralardaydı. Aferin Bana! Yine tutturdum ama elbiseyi okadar sıradan taşımış ki neredeyse ben bile anımsayamadım. Giambatista Valli Couture 2012 koleksiyonundan bu elbiseyi Louis Vuitton takı ve el çantası ile birleştirmiş. Yinede şık olmuş.

Bu arada Nicole Kidman'ın 2007/79. Oscar Töreninde giydiği Balenciaga elbiseyi anımsattı.

HOT! COUTURE DRESSES FOR OSCARS

Paris fashion week is over. I'm sorry for not being able to cover the event from my blog. I had a very serious health scare with a family member. Thankfully all is well.

Paris Moda haftası sona erdi. Sizlerden fazla görsel sunamadığım için özür dilerim. Ailemle ilgi bir sağlık sorunu yaşadık ama şimdi her şey yolunda.

What I would like to look at is some gorgeous frocks from the catwalks which could make it to the red carpet for the 2012 Oscars.

Sizlere podyumlardan beğendiğim ve  yaklaşan 2012 Oscar töreninde   kırmızı halıda görmeyi umduğum elbiseleri paylaşmak istedim.

First two dresses are  from Giambattista Valli. A palette of warm pink.

İlk elbiseler sıcak pembeler ve Giambattista Valli'den.

Second  dresses are from Elie Saab. Colours are bang on trend with spring pastels. We will see more of pretty pastels this spring and summer. I can't help but mention Arizona Muse looking fab in mint green more like blue.

İkinci seçenek Elie Saab'ın moda olan pastel tonlarındaki harikaları. Bu arada model Arizona Muse nane yeşili aslında daha çok mavi,ile harika.

Christian Dior is my third choice. Nipped in waists and voluminous ballroom skirts are very 1950's. This year we shall see similar looks from 1920's and 1950's.

My fourth choice is from Atelier Versace. These dresses are very elegant in their detail. They remind me of something Nicole Kidman might wear.

And my Final choice is from Stephanie Roland. Two different yet elegant and striking dresses. I would love to see Tilda Swinton in the second dress with the red flower.

Son olarak Stephanie Roland elbiselerinden iki favorim var. Farklı ve dikkat çekiciler. Özellikle çiçek baskılı olanını oyuncu Tilda Swinton üzerinde görmeyi isterdim.

We shall just wait and see if any of these dresses or similar ones from the same collection make it to the red carpet on Sunday 26th February.
I'm sure that dresses from the featured designers will definately be showcased.
