WHO WORE IT BETTER 2

I could not resist doing this with a dress from  the  2012 Golden Globes. It's the same dress that I featured in my previous post, worn by actress Julie Bowen. What is interesting is that the same dress was worn by actress Olivia Wilde in 2008 to another Golden Globes ceremony. It's actually the same dress but with a different type of material used for the skirt. What do you think? My favourite is the Julie Bowen version.

BRIDAL LOOKS FROM HOLLYWOOD

Hollywood cascaded some fabulous looks at the Golden Globes on January 15th. I don't want to bore you with more pictures from the event which you can easily find millions of them on the net.

Most of theses dresses worn on the night, actually make beautiful wedding gowns. Infact some of them are available as exact copy wedding gowns.

First is the dress worn by Shailene Woodley from Marchesa.

Julie Bowen wore a blush Reem Acra gown, a white version is available from the Spring 2012 collection.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATE

Princess Catherine is getting ready to Celebrate her 30th birthday. I wonder whether will see an addition to the Royal Family soon.

Last night she was attending the War Horse, directed by Steven Spielberg, Film premiere in London. Kate was wearing full length gown by Alice Temperley. The gown is made of black lace over a nude underlay and features lace sleeves and a V-neck, recalling the Alexander McQueen wedding dress for her wedding.

Charming Prince William tried to shield his princess from the rain.

Kate's elegantly accessorised the look with a black velvet band clinching her waist and a matching clutch featuring an oversized bow by Mascaró.

2012 colour palette is all about extremes. We get to choose from eye-popping brights or soft candy tones. Colour blocking outfits is still a trend and if you are brave enough why not mix pastels with brights.
