SNOWFLAKES ARE FALLING

If you remember my "Winter Wonderland" post, click here you will recall that I had put together a white dress with blue accessories.  Few days ago, a celebrity had worn an outfit on the red carpet (actually blue in this instance)with a similar look.

One can only assume this celebrity reads my blog! I would love that to happen for real though.

Winter Wonderland başlıklı yazımdan  buraya tık tık, hatırlasınız ki beyaz kıyafeti mavili akseuarlarla kombine etmiştim. Bana kışı ve karı hatırlatan renkler oldugundan.

Birde ne göreyim, ünlünün biri herhalde bu yazımı okumuş olmalı ki, benden ilham almışcasına kırmızı halıda (aslında mavi ama olsun)bu tarz giyinmiş.

Neyse belki bir gün o da olur.

Did I mention I love blue? I'm sure I did. Well it's a very nice colour but not exactly a romantic one. Pinks and Reds are more romantic in my opinion anyway.
When I recently saw this dress, I was captivated by its colours and thought of it as very romantic. So I wanted to do a combination featuring it.

Mavinin en sevdiğim renklerden olduğundan bahsetmiştim. Güzel ama pekde romantik olduğu söylenemez. Bence Pembe ve Kırmızı romantizmin renkleri.

Geçenlerde bu elbiseyi görünce renklerine vurulup, çok romantik bir elbise olduğunu düşünerek, yer aldığı bir kombinasyon hazırladım.

GOLDEN GIRLS

Gold seems to be a popular choice for celebrities walking the red carpet at the moment. The colour adds another dimension to the sparkle dripping off the celebrities.

There are so many different shades of Gold. From matts to shiny palettes you could even go for pale golds or bright and glittery tones to suit your colour tone.

Another plus for gold is not only it goes with almost any colour it instantly glams up any piece of fashion item.

I have interpreted my idea of a gold outfit. Since it is a party season I couldn't resist going for an evening wear combination. What do you think?

I wanted to create a combination with one of my favourite colours.Red, especially bery reds are to die for. I picked a contrasting colour and a neutral to balance things out. What do you think? Please let me know!

Winter is here, and this signals the start of the festive season. We've all got a party or two to go to. I couldn't think of better  colours which remind me of gittery snow and winter to do a combination of.



Kış kapıda derken geldiğini hissetik bile. Yeni Yıl için gidilecek bir yada iki tane kokteyl yada parti mutlaka vardır. Bende bana kışı ve kar'ı anımsatan renklerden bir kombinasyon hazırlamak istedim.

SEASONAL MUST HAVES 3: Forties Glamour /1940,lar ŞIKLIĞI

If you want to look bang on trend for Winter 2011/2012 then look no further than the 1940's. This was a big trend last winter. It got even bigger this winter.

The Forties trend is a fully-dressed affair - pencil skirts, Fitted jackets, fur(Faux please), shrugs, pearls, gloves and a slim belt are all required extras. Not to forget dramatic lips.

2011/2012 Kış Modasına uygun giyinmek isterseniz size 1940'ları takib etmenizi tavsiye ederim. Bu tarz giyim geçen sezon moda iken bu sezon dahada popüler. 1940'lar tamamen tak takıştırı gerektiren bir tarz. Kıyafetinizi tamamlaması için kalem etekler,üstünüze oturan ceketler ile beraber inci kolye ve kürk(lütfen sahte olsun)olmazsa olmaz.



Gucci have incorporated bright colours, texture with it's use of leather and fur into this look.The bags and knee high boots are key looks in Gucci's interpretation of the trend. We also dramatic lips, again this was an essentual look of the early forties.

Gucci bu trend için parlak renler deri kumaşlar ve kürk kullandı. Çantaları ve çizmeleride harika değilmi?

Ayrıca dudaklarda dram olması gerek ki bence harika bir görünüm.

Donna Karan has interpreted the Forties Trend with soft and pastel colours. We see texture in lots of silks, sheer fabrics and knitwear, quite opposites but work beautifully. Key accesories are gloves, belts,fur and pearls.

Donna Karan bu trend için pastel ve yumuşak renkleri tercih etmiş. Ayrıca ipek, şeffaf kumaşların yanısıra örgü de çok kullanılmış zıt ama uyumlu bence.

My favourite Forties look on the catwalk came from MIU MIU. The pieces are very wearable, smart yet casual and can be adapted from day into night.

Bu trend akımınıda benim favorim MIU MIU. Parçalar rahat ve giyilebilir ayrıca şık ve aynı zamanda gündüzden geceye kolayca taşınabilir.

Louis Vuitton have been very futuristic interpreting the look.  We see the Forties in the silhoutte of the pieces, but LV has added a twist to the whole look. Overall it's very theatrical.
